What is the fleet of Amigos?
Amigos has currently a fleet of three vessels.
- Aurrera (meaning “forward” or “come on” in Basque language) is our flagship. Built in 2024, with a capacity for 26 passengers and a powerful 210 horsepower inboard engine, has everything you need. Custom built to hold all the scuba gear neatly and organized, a spacious platform and comfortable benches, two toilets, water, coffee, tea, emergency oxygen, first aid kit and, recently added, a sound system to make your surface interval more enjoyable!
- Megumi 6 Bangka. A traditional Filipino style outrigger boat with capacity for 12 passengers, one of our fast deployment vessels. Rigged with a Yamaha 75hp outboard engine, has everything you need for a quick dive in any of the 15 dive sites we usually visit.
- Megumi 7 flatboat. Fast deployment vessel with a capacity for 12 passengers. Rigged with a Yamaha 60hp outboard engine, is the perfect boat for our students and technical divers.

What is the 3 dive package?
Our most popular package! For ₱4,200 you get three dives in one day. Usually, divers will do a first dive in the Sardine Run at 7AM and jump on the boat right after. Second dive of the day is done in Pescador Island and the third one in another dive site along the coast of Moalboal peninsula. Around noon we return to the dive shop and you have the afternoon free for other activities.
What about the 10 dive package?
For those of you who will stay longer, we will make sure that you discover more than just the highlights of Moalboal. For ₱14,000 we will tailor an itinerary that suits your needs.

When do I need a refresher course?
We recommend you take our refresher course if your last dive was six or more months ago.
What marine life can I see?
Depends on the location!
Here in Moalboal we are lucky to have a rich marine biodiversity. On a regular dive either on the house reef or any of the other dive sites we visit regularly, you will easily encounter:
- Sardines. Duh!
- Turtles. Mostly green turtles and some hawksbill. All of them extremely social.
- Clown fish aka Nemo. Plenty, in all variations and colors.
- Tuna.
- Yellowspotted trevally.
- Pipe fish (plenty). Ghost and banded are also common.
- Octopus. Common reef octopus and occasionally the BRO (Blue Ring Octopus).
- Lion fish.
- Needle fish.
- Trumpet fish.
- Scorpion fish. Careful where you put your hand!
- Stone fish. Also with this one, careful!
- Batfish. Not shy and curious fellas.
- Boxfish (yes! that little cute yellow one with polka dots!)
- Frogfish.
- Banded sea krait.
- Spotted moray.
- Titan trigger fish. No worries, the ones here are not aggressive.
- Whale shark. You need to be lucky…
- Thresher shark. Few have witnessed them hunting sardines, very low chances.
From the surface or boat:
- Dolphins.
- Pilot whales.
