underwater photography session

Looking for a professional underwater photographer to capture stunning photos of your underwater adventures?

You are in the right place!

Pablo S. Quiza, our in-house underwater photographer, will guide you through the process of creating memorable images of your encounter with the Sardine Run or other dive sites in Moalboal—all at an affordable price!

Pablo has nearly 30 years of experience as a professional photographer. He spent a large part of his career with the international news agency Reuters, and since 2015, he has worked as a freelancer for various publications and organizations, including the Philippines Department of Tourism, national and international media, and corporate clients.

Being a good diver/freediver is definitely helpful but don’t worry, if this is your first time underwater we can for sure take great photos! Our divemasters will help you.

A minimum of 10 per diver but, in most cases, I deliver around 20. A good diver in good conditions can easily receive more than 20 final photos. I will not leave good photos unsent just because I have reached the minimum promised.

Photos in high resolution will be uploaded to the cloud and a link will be emailed to you on the same day. Why upload to the cloud? The photos will be sent in high resolution, too big files to be sent by email.

Depends on the diver but between 40 minutes to an hour. Freediving sessions can be a bit longer… until you get cold or tired!

Not having the best visibility doesn’t mean you can’t take good photos but if the conditions are really bad, is better to reschedule to another day.

Nobody judges a chef by the brand of their stove or a carpenter by the brand of their hammer, right? 😁This analogy could be applied to photographers. The most expensive camera doesn’t know how to take photos, the eye behind the viewfinder creates the art.

Nowadays, the camera I use is a Fuji X-T2, with a 24.3-megapixel APS-C X-Trans CMOS III sensor, in a Nauticam housing with two SUPE D-Pro strobes and a third Inon S-2000 strobe for remote lighting.

No. Each RAW file from the camera is around 50MB in size, and during a successful photoshoot, I will shoot around 200 photos—that’s nearly 10GB of data. Besides, you will need an updated version of Photoshop to be able to open the files, and you must know how to do proper toning and editing on the photos.

Trust me when it comes to choosing and editing the right photos. I will not ignore and leave any good photo behind.
